The photovoltaic industry is one in transition, currently caught up the worldwide financial crisis and waiting to see where the money will be allocated first. There will be winners and losers in the next year, unrelated to technology and management. Strengths that differentiate PV from other industries are worldwide demand and government incentive programs. Under the Obama Presidency, more resources are being dedicated towards PV than many other industries. And, although the United States will remain far behind other countries, there is a proven path that we can follow and we know where the job growth will be. Today, there are PV companies seeking out and hiring industry talent. Our clients are still contracting us to find the right people. This is an ideal time for recruitment with stock options in the negative and triple digit layoffs in the news. The question to ask is if this is a time to wait until the crisis comes home or use the disorder to move your career or business forward.
